A Love Island winner and an AFL player have tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in front of their close friends and family members.

Richmond premiership player Nathan Broad has tied the knot with former Love Island winner Tayla Damir.

The reality television contestant and three-time premiership star tied the knot in Queensland in an intimate ceremony attended by close family and friends.

Tayla shared the news of their nuptials by uploading several images to her social media account with a simple caption.

“Mr and Mrs Broad – 17.10.2022,” she captioned the images.

The couple had one simple rule for their ceremony.

“My biggest thing is I want to see everyone’s face rather than the back of phones, so in that case it will probably be a no-phone wedding,” Tayla told the Herald Sun.

The couple got engaged in June last year with Tayla uploading the magical moment Nathan got down on one knee to her Instagram account.

A camera setup in their backyard captured the moment with Nathan taking a deep breath before popping the question.

“My forever. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend,” Tayla captioned the post.
