LeSean McCoy sets the record straight about his bizarre females-only party
LESEAN McCoy has revealed just what on Earth he was thinking when he sent out his creepy party invitations for a females-only party..
LESEAN McCoy wants to set the record straight about his off-the-field activities.
After an invite to the seven-year pro’s Philadelphia blowout surfaced last week, the internet ignited as to what sort of shenanigans would go down at McCoy’s “females-only” event. While meeting with the media during the second day of the Buffalo Bills’ training camp, the running back addressed the now-infamous flyer.
“I should have never posted it and I take blame for it,” the former Eagle explained on Friday per ESPN’s Mike Rodak. “But for the record, it was no weird orgy thing going on.”

McCoy required that all attendees, who had to be over the age of 21, submit a photo along with their social media information, in addition to signing a confidentiality agreement. Though the Philly transplant ultimately cancelled the event, he insists it’s part of team bonding — sort of.
“I felt like it was like a thing I do every year with teammates. It’s something I bring together with teammates, but I didn’t do it this year,” McCoy said.
Perhaps McCoy should extend the invite to the Bills’ coaching staff in 2016, considering head coach Rex Ryan is bummed he missed the memo.
“I did not get an invite,” said Ryan. “I’m a little disappointed about that. But maybe next year.”
27-year-old McCoy joked that his coach was more upset than he was letting on.
“He was pissed off that I didn’t invite him. He gave like a whole speech for about two hours. ‘You gotta be about the team! If one guy has women, we all need women,’” said McCoy.
McCoy told ESPN his intent was taken out of context and he didn’t understand what all the fuss was about.
“I didn’t think it was that serious. But I can see where people may take it the wrong way,” said McCoy.
“I mean, if you asked a regular party, there’s an age limit...I think everybody took it out of context. How it was perceived.”
“I think everybody read it wrong...It was if any party that anyone ever went to, once you submit everything, they let you know what the appropriate attire is to wear. I’m just trying to explain what’s going on.”
