Dockers debutant Lachie Weller is really, really ridiculously good looking

LOOK, we’re not saying Lachie Weller is the most photogenic AFL player in history. We’re just raising the possibility.

HE’S made his long awaited debut in the AFL in the past week, but this may be his greatest achievement to date.

Lachie Weller of the Fremantle Dockers turned heads on the weekend when he was snapped mid-match in the one of the most ridiculously photogenic shots we have seen all year.

The 19-year-old Tasmanian came off the bench for the Dockers over the weekend in his first run during an official AFL match.

Not only did Weller make a strong impression on the park with a stellar debut, he managed to attract a few fans along the way.

Modelling jobs will be a dime a dozen for this youngster if his AFL career doesn’t work out. Unfortunately for the rest of the world, it looks like it will.

Lachie is not the only member of his family to make it in the AFL — older brother Maverick plays for the St Kilda Football Club.

Weller received some solid advice from his older sibling ahead of his debut against the GWS Giants on Sunday.

“He told me not to be afraid and take the game on, but don’t go out there and set the world on fire, just play your role,” Lachie said.

He may not have set the world on fire, but he certainly managed to set hearts on fire.

Weller isn’t the only good looking rooster to come out of the AFL. With over 750 players on professional rosters around the country, he was bound to have some competition.

We managed to pull together a collection of just a few of the codes’ athletes that missed their second calling in the world of modelling.

With a jawline like that, its no wonder Richmond’s Shaun Hampson managed to shack up with one of Oz’s top models, Megan Gale.

Aside from Hampson, Alex Rance proves you must have ridiculously good facials to play for Richmond.

With hair like that, St Kilda’s Sean Dempster could be a keen pick to take Zayn’s One Direction spot.
