Boris Becker’s elbow lump raises so many questions at the US Open

A MASSIVE UFO — unidentified freaky object — on tennis legend Boris Becker’s elbow has ignited both terror and confusion at the US Open.

BORIS Becker has the worst case of tennis elbow we’ve ever seen.

Actually, it might not be tennis elbow. We’ve bypassed an accurate medical diagnosis there for the sake of a cheap pun. But the fact remains — tennis legend Boris Becker has a massive lump on his elbow, and nobody seems to know why.

Becker is a former world number one who claimed six grand slam titles during the 1980s and 90s. These days, he’s coaching the current world number one, Novak Djokovic.

During Djokovic’s opening match of the tournament, Becker was photographed with the strange lump protruding from his arm.

What is THAT?
What is THAT?
Boris, that is quite a lump on your elbow.
Boris, that is quite a lump on your elbow.

The ever-vigilant and vigorous Twitterati were on the case immediately. Alas, they have not yet managed to pinpoint the cause.

Adding to the intrigue, the lump, or UFO (unidentified freaky object), was on Becker’s left arm. The 46-year-old German plays right-handed, so it probably isn’t a tennis injury.

But wait — there’s more. We quickly scanned the photographic archives and uncovered a shocking new twist in the tale. Earlier this year, Becker appeared to have a similar-but-slightly-less-monstrous lump on his right elbow as well.

Wait, this one’s on his right elbow.
Wait, this one’s on his right elbow.
The mystery deepens.
The mystery deepens.
Lumpy McLump Lump.
Lumpy McLump Lump.

What does that mean? Is Becker’s elbow lump contagious? Is the tennis community about to be wracked by a protrusion epidemic of epic proportions? It’s difficult to say.

One thing is certain, however. When he was in his prime, Boris Becker had perfectly normal elbows, and now he doesn’t.

Stay tuned. The truth is out there.
