Aussie snowboarder Scotty James and his F1 billionaire heiress wife Chloe Stroll been inundated with messages of congratulations.

Australian snowboarder Scotty James and his wife Chloe Stroll have announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy.

The popular couple shared the happy news on Friday in a joint Instagram post captioned “Leo Harry James” with a photo of the baby holding his parents’ hands.

James also shared a snap of the couple out and about with a pram.

James and Stroll were inundated with comments wishing them well.

Australian F1 star Oscar Piastri wrote: “Congrats guys.”

F1 drivers Fernando Alonso and George Russell also offered their congratulations.

Sky Sports F1 presenter Natalie Pinkham said: “Oh wow huge love and congrulations. How wonderful!”

AFL great Brendan Fevola wrote: “Congratulations mate.”

Oscar winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones said: “Welcome to the world Leo!!! I can’t wait to meet you.”

Stroll is the daughter of billionaire Canadian businessman Lawrence Stroll, who owns the Aston Martin F1 team. His son Lance has driven in F1 since 2017.

James, 30, is a two-time Olympic medallist and met Stroll, 29, in 2019 after Chloe’s brother Lance set them up.

James and Stroll got married last year in a star studded wedding in Venice.

James, who is regularly seen at F1 races in the Aston Martin garage, is also good friends with Daniel Ricciardo, who has likely driven his last grand prix after getting sacked by Red Bull’s feeder team VCARB.

James and Stroll got engaged in late 2021 in Switzerland. Chloe, who is a singer, revealed in 2020 Lance had actually set her up with Scotty and they met in New York.

“Lance actually called me and said, ‘I think I just found the guy you’re going to marry’,” she told the Herald Sun.

“It was kind of strange. I had a conference in Park City (Utah), which was where his next competition was the same weekend and a lot of random things happened.

“Scotty was very cute. We dated for about four months, or as he likes to say, we got to know each other, before he officially asked me to be his girlfriend.”

“I just connected with her in New York and went out to dinner with her at a place called Motel Morris in Chelsea and the rest is history,’’ James recalled.

“She’s quite a talented musician.

“It’s been really cool watching her do her thing. She’s always had a huge passion for music and it’s the industry she wants to be a part of. She’s really enjoying it.” James was Australia’s flag-bearer at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, where he won a bronze medal in the halfpipe.

He claimed silver at the 2022 Games and will be aiming to go one better at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, Italy.
