Wallabies crash to humiliating, historic new low after 10th defeat
The Wallabies have hit rock bottom with their year of misery ending in brutal fashion after that left statisticians reaching for record books.
For the first time ever, the Wallabies have lost ten Test matches in a calander year after a 48-33 defeat at the hands of France in the final game of their four-match European Tour.
The Wallabies lost all four of those games, becoming the first touring Australian side in 67 years to leave Europe without a victory.

It was also the second week in a row Australia conceded 40 points after Ireland put 46 on them seven days ago.
The result caps a busy year for our national side, who played 15 Test matches in 22 weeks.
France were heavily favoured at home, but the Wallabies certainly gave them all they could handle in what was a very entertaining clash.
Both teams were potent in attack, with players seemingly slicing through gaps in defence all game.
Australia started fast, with a try inside the first three minutes, but like they were able to all night, France countered with a try of their own just minutes later.
French winger Louie Bielle-Biarrey was the best afield. His first half try when he raced down the sideline before recovering his own chip kick to score was spectacular.
Oh wow, Louis Bielle-Biarrey! ð®

Scores were locked at 19 at the half time break, but it was essentially one way traffic in the second forty.
Discipline cost the Wallabies dearly. After half time, they conceded 10 penalties and were unable to really put together any momentum as the French ran in four second half tries.
Australia scored two after the break, which included a sensational effort from fullback Max Jorgensen.
Jorgensen’s gamebreaking speed was on full display in a counter attack after a French error.
Receiving the ball in his own half, Jorgensen galloped down the left edge before putting in a grubber as defenders closed in, with the fullback able to chase down the rolling ball and dive on it to score.
“That is mindblowing,” Sean Mahoney said on Stan Sport.
Max Jorgensen, that is unreal!

That try made it a 27-26 game and it appeared the Stade de France crowd would be treated to a grandstand finish.
However, the home side were given several opportunities to score points from an undisciplined Wallabies team and they took full advantage, recording the next two tries to put the game to bed.
“I felt we went toe for toe with them... They (France) took control in the last quarter,” Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt said.
“I’m incredibly proud of the group. They would have learned a lot in these last 15 Test matches.
