RIO Olympic prospect Melissa Wu has picked up her second diving medal in seven days in Dubai.

The two-time Olympian, still chasing a spot on the flight to Rio in August, has again been edged out of the major medals by Chinese rivals.

In the meet in Dubai, Wu finished with a bronze medal behind Chinese gold medallist Huixia Liu and Yajie Si,

Last weekend she finished behinds Yajie Si and Qian Ren.

Wu won a silver medal at the Beijing Olympics but cam home empty-handed from London four years ago.

The Australian Olympic selection trials for the diving team will be contested in Melbourne in May.
