Schedule for Day 6 of the Tokyo Olympics

Australia had a flood of medals on day 5 but day 6 of the Tokyo Olympics could just be our greatest day in Games history.

Australia will be in hot contention for an additional five gold medals on the sixth day of the Tokyo Olympics after a record-equalling three golds on day five.

Swimming icon Kyle Chalmers will be among Olympians hoping to get on the podium, with the 23-year-old competing in the men’s 100m freestyle final at 12.37pm.

Brianna Throssell will look to back up her gold performance in the 4 x 200m freestyle relay in the 200m butterfly final, which will kick off at 12.28pm.

Four days after claiming silver in the 400m freestyle, Jack McLoughlin will battle for another medal in the 800m freestyle final at 11.30am.

After finishing first in the 200m breastroke semi-final on Wednesday, Izaac Stubblety-Cook will compete to finish on top again in the final at 11.44am.

Jess Fox will contend for a second podium finish following her bronze K1 Canoe Slalom finish on Tuesday, with the C-1 Final set for 3pm.
