Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz are enjoying vastly different Paris Olympic experiences.

The Serbian superstar and current world number two has shunned his fellow athletes and elected to stay outside of the Olympic Village.

Djokovic, 37, has instead booked himself into his own accommodation as he attempts to claim Olympic gold, the biggest accomplishment missing from his trophy cabinet.

It’s a move that isn’t completely out of the ordinary with countless, mostly high-profile, athletes in the past electing not to stay inside the village.

The decision will allow Djokovic to steer clear of the party-like scene that is expected to unfold inside the athletes’ village.

But it wasn’t his on court prowess that captured social medias attention, it was an image from inside the village that sent fans into meltdown.

“Hey, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.”

The Paris Olympic village is believed to be flood with 200,000 condoms for this years Games, that equates to around 20 per athlete.

While that number is high, it falls well short of the reported 450,000 at the Rio Games in 2016.
