Sam Kerr has reportedly separated from her long-term girlfriend, and internet sleuths believe she has already found a new partner.
Australian football superstar Sam Kerr reportedly separated from long-term partner Nikki Stanton ahead of the Tokyo Games.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Kerr and Stanton have ended their high-profile romance after more than seven years together, sparking rumours about the Aussie Olympian’s dating life.
The 27-year-old Kerr reportedly told friends she had “fallen out of love” with Stanton, whom she met back in 2014.
The pair have also unfollowed each other on social media platform Instagram.
Stanton represents the Chicago Red Stars in the United States, while Kerr plays for Chelsea in the Women’s Super League.

Kerr’s newly-found single status has ignited speculation about her dating life, with some fans theorising she has already found a new partner.
The Matildas captain and American midfielder Kristie Mewis were seen cuddling on the pitch following Thursday’s bronze medal match, which the United States won 4-3.
As pointed out by social media sleuths, Kerr and Mewis have been “flirting” on social media for several months.
One Twitter user posted a thread of 18 comments the pair have exchanged on Instagram since March.
“Glad to see you’re committing to your new number,” Mewis replied to a photo of Kerr with her Matildas teammates last month.
Kerr responded: “Committing to you more then 2.”

Kerr became the Matildas’ leading goalscorer during the bronze medal match, with her 48th international goal putting her ahead of Lisa De Vanna on the all-time list.
She scored a total of six goals across six matches at the Tokyo Games.
“It doesn’t matter who I’m playing against, where I’m playing, what minute it is, I really believe that my team will get it to me and that’s been something through the whole tournament,” Kerr said last week.
“Every goal I’ve scored has been because of amazing goal service. Every single goal that we’ve scored has been from something brewing from someone else.”
