New details of Karl Stefanovic’s Olympic Games accommodation have been revealed.

The Today show host has taken to social media to share a video of his ritzy accommodation in Paris, where he is covering the Games.

Joined by his wife Jasmine, their daughter Harper, 4, and Willow, 19, the eldest daughter of Stefanovic and his ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn, the family appears to be living it up in Paris in free accommodation from Airbnb.

“Late nights and early mornings for this proud Aussie in Paris,” Stefanovic wrote on Instagram with a reel of him in his Airbnb.

The video starts with Stefanovic walking into an apartment building and carrying a baguette up a flight of stairs before grabbing a jar of vegemite.

Walking through the apartment he goes outside to the balcony where he and his daughter try out the vegemite-covered baguette.

“So grateful to be here covering the Paris 2024 Olympic Games @Olympics and it’s such a joy to have my family stay here with me thanks to @airbnb. I honestly can’t wait to see our team do their thang,” Stefanovic wrote.

It follows Stefanovic’s vegemite antics in Paris, where he convinced tourists to try TimTams dipped in the iconic Australian spread.

Ms Stefanovic also shared happy snaps from the trip, saying Paris feels like a “home away from home”.

Photos included a beautiful, sunlit bedroom, balcony views and a few trips out and about on the town.

“A beautiful welcome to Paris by @airbnb thank you for hosting us during the @olympics. We’ve made such amazing family memories already. It truly feels like a home away from home,” Ms Stefanovic wrote on Instagram.

It comes after her husband’s coverage of the opening ceremony was slammed as “dull” and “woeful”.

The ceremony along Paris’ famous River Seine kicked off in the early hours of Saturday morning, with many Australians tuning in to Channel 9’s coverage to watch the Australian athletes participate in the parade of nations.

But viewers were quick to criticise the broadcaster’s live coverage, especially Stefanovic’s rolling commentary of the more-than-four-hour-long event.

“The Channel 9 commentary is so bad, beyond cringe, I wonder (if) it’s been beset by technical difficulties beyond Karl Stefanovic’s personality?” one viewer questioned.

Another Olympics fans pleaded for the broadcaster to “shut up” the presenter, who repeatedly reminded viewers of the bleak weather that left athletes drenched.

“It’s raining, we get it. You’re a pathetic broadcaster Channel 9,” one man said.

Others were quick to offer their preferred pick for ceremony host and questioned why Stefanovic was selected at all.

One outraged Aussie said fellow broadcaster and former professional tennis player Todd Woodbridge would have been “perfect” to host the ceremony solo.

“Why the f**k would you have Karl Stefanovic as a host for the Opening Ceremony?”

Todd Woodbridge by himself would have been perfect,” one viewer wrote.

“Karl is not OK – he is woeful, Todd is OK but it’s horrible coverage,” another disgruntled viewer said.
