NSW prop Trent Merrin has been released from Origin camp to play for club side the Dragons against the Raiders on Monday night.

St George Illawarra teammate Beau Scott remains with the Blues camp on stand-by for Glenn Stewart, who is striving to overcome a knee injury.

In a boost for NSW, Stewart completed light running today.

Merrin will rejoin the NSW camp in Brisbane after Monday night’s club clash, with the Blues to face Queensland in the Origin decider at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday night.
