Former NRL bad boy Todd Carney and MAFS contestant Susie Bradley have dropped the first photos of their glitzy wedding day.
The couple celebrated in style after exchanging vows during a ceremony at their Gold Coast home.
The 38-year-old Dally M medallist and Bradley dropped the first photos from their big day on Instagram on Monday after partying with guests on Sunday.
The loved-up pair tied the knot in front of just a small group of friends and family members.
Photos shared by Carney on his Instagram stories show Carney’s former Sydney Roosters teammates Mitchell Pearce and Boyd Cordner were among the guests.
Bradley was the headline act as she dazzled in a figure-hugging halter-top dress which she complimented with a full body veil and beautiful summer bouquet.
According to the photos shared by Carney, the only person who could hold a candle to the bride was Pearce in his... err bold, black ensemble.
Carney and Pearce — former NSW State of Origin teammates — looked just as loved-up as the happy couple in photos shared from the reception.
The former Cronulla halfback was dressed to the nines in a traditional black tuxedo and white shirt.
He looked just as stunned as everyone else appeared to be when laying their eyes on Bradley for the first time.
The 31-year-old earlier shared a photo of her sparkly wedding ring on Instagram, captioning the photo: “Taking a moment to realise I just got to marry my best friend at out beautiful home on the perfect day with our most closest friends and family.
“I love you my husband. Here’s to forever xxxxx.”
It was a heart-melting love story for a couple that had separated previously.
The pair have been together on and off since 2019.
They were first engaged in December, 2020, before welcoming their first child, son Lion, in March, 2021.
Bradley is also mum to a nine-year-old daughter named Baby from a previous relationship.
The couple celebrated their second engagement in May.
Bradley shared the news on Instagram, writing: “We met on the Saturday. On the Sunday he took me to this beach were we ate pizza and watched the sunset, and he said the words to me ‘lay back on me’.
“It was in this very moment, on this very beach, laying back in his arms I knew. I knew I would love him forever.”
Bradley in May, 2023, confirmed she and Carney were back together one year after they announced that they had separated.
Carney has been getting his life back together in recent years and Bradley has been his rock through some turbulent times following his retirement.
Carney last year opened up on their 2022 separation in a tell-all interview about his personal troubles.
Carney said in October, 2023, he was seven months sober, revealing the devastating impact alcohol has had in his life.
He is using his personal experience to help other rugby league players navigate their own careers and off-field pitfalls.
Sacked by both the Raiders and Sharks during his playing days, Carney is now in a good place — and it shows in the photos shared on Monday.
He made a return to the NRL in December when it was anounced he has joined the Titans as a junior pathways coach.
