GOLD Coast Titans forward Greg Bird is being investigated by the NRL’s integrity unit over an alleged altercation at a teammate’s buck’s party.

According to Nine News, Bird was involved in a drunken incident at Hotel Brunswick, at Brunswick Heads in northern NSW, as part of a buck’s weekend for teammate Anthony Don.

He was refused entry and had an altercation with security staff last weekend, the report said.

Bird told Nine News it was not a physical altercation.

“The club is aware of an investigation currently underway by the NRL Integrity Unit regarding an alleged incident at a hotel in northern NSW last weekend,” the club said in a statement.

“At this stage those investigations are yet to be completed so the club is not in a position to comment further until the outcome has been determined.”
