The Roosters have continued their stunning pre-Christmas signing spree, with NRLW vice-captain Corban Baxter inking a new three-year deal to stay with the competition heavyweights.

Baxter returned to the NRLW in 2023 after she missed the 2022 campaign following the birth of her youngest son and had the best season of her career, scoring seven tries from 10 matches to help the Roosters reach the finals.

The champion fullback has played representative footy at the highest level and was the captain when the Roosters defeated St George Illawarra to win their inaugural NRL premiership.

“I’m thrilled to continue my journey with my Chookies family,” Baxter said.

“The Roosters club means so much to me and I’m so proud that I’ll continue to be part of the team we have here for the next three years.”

Baxter’s decision to stay put continues an incredible signing spree. Jess Sergis, Tarryn Aiken, Olivia Kernick, Amber Hall and Mya Hill-Moana have all recommitted to the club in recent weeks.

“Corban leads with her actions and her words and her work ethic, leadership, and passion for the game make her a key member of our squad, so it’s terrific to have her locked into our long-term plans,“ Roosters NRLW coach John Strange said.
