GREG Inglis is confident he will be fit for Friday night's blockbuster against Brisbane after suffering an elbow injury during South Sydney's win over Parramatta.
The results are expected back this morning.
Inglis had ice on the injury during yesterday's recovery session but the club doesn't fear it is a serious issue.
Inglis was injured while attempting to tackle Jarryd Hayne midway through the first half.
But he managed to play out the game and set up two tries.
With Maroons fullback Billy Slater ruled out of Origin III with a knee injury, the Queenslanders can ill afford to lose Inglis, who is tipped to take Slater's No.1 jumper in the July 4 decider.
However, Inglis was confident after the game he would be right to play the Broncos. "I just hyper-extended it a little bit and just had to go on through the game," Inglis said. "That's just the way I wanted to play it ... go inside and get a bit of treatment and away we go."

After refusing to leave the field on Friday night, Inglis admitted that he didn't know if he was risking further injury. "I wasn't really listening to him (the team doctor) at the time," he said.
"I was listening to the message the coach was giving to us."
