AFTER stunning Delta Goodrem spiced up Origin I with a pre-match performance, could one of her The Voice co-stars be about to entertain the 84,000 fans at ANZ Stadium?

We were hearing judge Joel Madden, his bro Benji and the other members of US punk band Good Charlotte were going to perform, only for contractual issues to put an end to that. Keith Urban and wife Nicole Kidman are booked into a suite to watch the game, which leaves Seal.

Could the former Mr Heidi Klum be belting out a few tunes? We're tipping he will. We're tipping he'll perform Crazy, in honour of the Queenslanders. Maybe he'll paint his famous fingernails sky blue. No word on if he'll be accompanied by banjos though.

NSW coach Ricky Stuart's pre-Origin team functions have been all class. Last week the Blues invited legendary league writer Alan Clarkson, who's been battling illness, along to one of their dinners to pay tribute to him.

And on Sunday night, 30 young leaders from around the state had dinner with the team during their five-day leadership and work experience course, as part of the Earn Learn Legend program. The youngsters, whose career choices range from forensics to midwifery, rubbed shoulders with the game's stars. David Peachey is one of the ambassadors.

Vossy in chair

THE changes continued at the foot of the mountains last night.

After Penrith ace Michael Jennings was punted to the NSW Cup, then Luke Lewis relieved of his captaincy duties, long-time ground announcer Scott McCrae was given a "spell".

Channel 9 commentator Andrew Voss was the man behind the microphone. No controversy though, with officials confirming McCrae will be back in the chair after the next two home games.
