PANTHERS flyer Sandor Earl has continued this week's flurry of mid-season transfers, agreeing to join Canberra for the remainder of 2012.
Earl is this week's second Panther to be granted an immediate release, following the defection of hooker Nafe Seluini to the Roosters.
It's believed Earl will move to Canberra in the next 48 hours and could even line-up for the injury-ravaged Raiders against St George Illawarra on Monday night.
More transfer news is expected from Melbourne later today, with Knights prop Richie Fa'aoso undergoing a fitness test at AAMI Park this morning.
The Roosters have also been active, releasing Anthony Mitchell (Cowboys) and Sam Perrett (Bulldogs) this week.
“I’m very excited about joining the Raiders and I can’t wait to get down to Canberra and start working with David Furner and the players,” Earl said. “It was a very hard choice to leave Penrith and Windsor as they have been great to me but for the future it was the best option.”
