Sam Burgess’ girlfriend blurts out cryptic wedding news

Lucy Graham, the girlfriend of former NRL star Sam Burgess, has raised eyebrows with a wedding hint from out of the blue.

Lucy Graham, the girlfriend of former NRL star Sam Burgess, has hinted wedding bells are chiming ahead of the birth of their first child together.

The happy couple in March confirmed they are pregnant and now another major event appears on the horizon.

Graham, a hair stylist who has known the Rabbitohs premiership legend for 20 years, on Monday morning raised eyebrows with a series of baby shower photos that included a cryptic caption.

“Thank you so much to my amazing friends for organising the most wonderful last minute baby shower/wedding I could have wished for,” she posted.

“I love you all and thank you so much to everyone for coming at such short notice and making the little time we had so fun.”

Burgess did not attend the celebration.

Graham has been back at home in the United Kingdom and shared images of her wild baby shower with her 5000 Instagram followers.

The quirky celebration included Graham wearing a spectacular, skin-tight dress that showed of her proud baby bump.

Her photos also included a graphic cake which depicted the head of a baby crowning during birth.

However, it is the hint at a wedding that has caught the eye of most fans. The Daily Telegraph suggests it is possible the event iin the UK doubled as a wedding for close friends and families that may be unable to attend a wedding held in Australia.

The couple first went public with their relationship in November.

The pair both hail from the UK, with Graham recently moving to Australia to start a family with the current South Sydney assistant coach.

Burgess split with his now ex-wife Phoebe in 2019, with whom he shares children Poppy, four, and Billy, three.
