Phoebe Burgess’ shock dating revelation after marriage breakdown

Phoebe Burgess has spoken about what her romantic future looks like after making a decision to ignore the thing everyone wants her to do.

Phoebe Burgess has declared she isn’t interested in dating again.

Moving on with her life following her turbulent split from former NRL star Sam Burgess, the popular Instagram influencer has revealed her romantic future looks non-existent.

In an interview with Vogue Australia, the 33-year-old says she is content to enjoy her life as a mother of two before ever contemplating a return to the dating world.

“What am I going to put on my Tinder profile,” she said light-heartedly.

“Sleeps in same bed as daughter. Lives with parents. Enormous public baggage.

“I don’t know why, but people seem to want me to enter a new phase, but I’m content here for the moment.”

It comes after the very messy separation from Sam Burgess, who recently bared in soul about his actions during their relationship when speaking on hit reality TV show ‘SAS: Australia’.

Phoebe Burgess spoke out in November to reveal the moment that “broke” her during the former couple’s marriage of four years.

Phoebe broke down when recalling the night she found out Sam had had an affair with a Melbourne woman in 2017.

The discovery came after she found out he had exposed himself to a 23-year-old woman during a series of sexually charged video calls that included other Rabbitohs players.

“I was the ultimate defender of my husband. I believed that he’d been made a victim. And then came the night where the next woman had decided she was going to tell the next story as well, that my husband had had an affair while he was captaining England in 2017, while I was travelling around the country without daughter to watch his games,” she said, audibly overcome with emotion on a podcast appearance.

“And that night, that night broke me.”

In her October interview with the Weekend Australian, Phoebe described discovering her husband had cheated as “probably the worst night of my life”, saying she “felt physical pain when I found out”.

The couple share son Billy, 3, and daughter Poppy, 5.

Sam was probed about his infidelity and other past controversies while on the hit Channel 7 show.

“They found cocaine in my system while I was driving my car. Pretty embarrassing. Pretty embarrassed about that,” he said.

“The last 18 months, I felt like a loser. My marriage broke down. I’d just retired from sport. My ex father-in-law had taken an AVO against me. Two days after I retired, I separated my marriage.”

“Was it already on its way out?” one of the soldiers asked.

“Yeah, a little bit, yeah. I don’t think I was the greatest husband at times. I embarrassed my wife. I had an affair with a girl – a woman in Melbourne. Yeah. It’s true. I was away on tour. Regretful that it happened.”

The Rabbitohs premiership winner was this year allowed to return to his coaching role with the club following an NRL investigation.

The NRL found Burgess guilty of taking illicit drugs and breaching its code of conduct.

The code handed him a $30,000 fine and 12-week suspension.

But the NRL cleared Burgess of allegations of domestic violence, finding there was not sufficient evidence to support the claims.

Phoebe said in March she was “appalled” at the NRL’s decision.

Burgess was stood down from his position as an assistant coach at South Sydney in October 2020 after Phoebe made allegations of domestic violence and drug use.

The Rabbitohs great denied all allegations and any wrongdoing.

Police last year cleared Burgess following a year-long investigation into allegations outlined in explosive media reports.
