The 21-year-old centre was soaking in the atmosphere during a post-game interview alongside Spencer Leniu when he accidentally slipped up.

In the wash up of big games players can forget they’re appearing on a live broadcast as their media training goes out the window.

Instead of keeping what they’re saying in check, the occasional gaffe occurs as the emotion takes over the player.

That’s exactly what happened on Sunday night.

As Leniu and Tago spoke with Channel 9’s Allana Ferguson, Tago got caught up in the moment and dropped what may well be the most casual F-bomb you’ll ever hear.

“You did just do it, you’ve just won the Grand Final. How are you feeling at the moment?” Kennedy asked.

Tago responded: “Oh f*** I don’t know. Still soaking it in hey let’s go … three-peat that’s it.”

It was so clean the moment almost went by unnoticed but after Kennedy sent both men on their way to celebrate, the slip up found its way online.

Tago’s comment had nothing on the chaos that unfolded when Kennedy interviewed Australian icon Mick Fanning.

The Penrith-born surfing champion is a Panthers tragic and was on the lap of honour with the Penrith stars as they celebrated with their fans.

And it was evident to see he had thoroughly enjoyed his night at Accor Stadium.

Andrew Johns said on Channel 9 he would give Fanning “three votes” for his performance.

While you should always drink responsibly, fans were already calling Fanning the MVP of the celebrations.

Sportsbet’s official account commented: “Mick Fanning odds on to be Man of the Match for the post-match celebrations.”

Sky Racing’s Greg Prichard tweeted: “How many beers has Mick Fanning had???!!!??? Wheeeeeeee!!!”

One fan wrote: “Rarely will you see an interview with a drunker person than the one with Mick Fanning celebrating the Panthers win.”

Panthers coach Ivan Cleary took things to a whole new level on Monday morning as he appeared on Channel 9’s Today Show.

The three-time premiership coach was in good spirits while looking a little worse for wear following the party at Panthers Leagues Club.

After dropping a bomb on those north of the Tweed, he turned his attention to Nathan and his wife Rebecca.

“I actually said to him yesterday, if I’d married someone else he would have been a pretty s*** player,” Cleary said.

“I’ve got to thank his mum for everything he’s got, you know. Certainly not from me. Yeah, so proud of him. You know what, he owes me though. I’ve driven him to that many things. I’ve made lunches for him and all this stuff. And he’s now actually making my life easy. So I love you Nat.”
