PENRITH have signed Melbourne forward Sika Manu to a three-year deal as the Panthers continue to bolster their NRL stocks for next season.

Manu was believed to be in demand from several Sydney clubs and Panthers general manager Phil Gould said in a statement on Tuesday he was delighted to snare the powerful New Zealand international.

"We are extremely excited about having Sika and his family join the Panthers from 2013 and beyond," Gould said.

"Sika is an international class forward of the highest quality, and I'm sure our club will benefit from his experiences having being developed through the great Melbourne Storm system."

Manu is the second Penrith signing in as many weeks after talented Manly utility Dean Whare agreed to join the club on a two-year deal starting in 2013.
