Penrith makes the call on injured winger Taylan May for Sunday’s NRL grand final
Sunday’s NRL grand final will be without a Penrith winger who has lost his race against the clock to be fit.
Taylan May has officially been ruled out of Sunday‘s grand final after the Panthers winger failed to overcome a hamstring injury.
May hurt his hamstring in Penrith‘s win over the Eels in week one of the finals and was also suspended for a match for his high shot on Parramatta’s Will Penisini.
Charlie Staines retained his spot on the right wing when teams are confirmed on Tuesday afternoon after filling in against South Sydney last week.
