According to The Courier Mail, paramedics were called to the Bardon property when a gas bottle exploded after a barbecue on the couple’s balcony failed to light.

News Corp reports that a neighbour heard a loud bang followed by a scream at the property at approximately 7pm.
Four police cars, an ambulance, and fire engine were called to the scene.
The woman is reportedly in a stable condition at the Wesley Hospital, but suffered minor burns to her lower limbs.
Tallis represented Queensland in 20 State of Origin games between 1994 and 2003, also playing 18 Tests for Australia during his professional career.
He won three NRL premierships with the Brisbane Broncos in 1997, 1998 and 2000.
Tallis received the Clive Churchill Medal in the 1998 grand final as the Broncos toppled the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs 38-12 at Sydney Football Stadium.
He currently works as a commentator and pundit for Fox League.
The 48-year-old has been in a long-term relationship with Jemma Elder, who has served as a Gold Coast Titans board member for more than four years.
The couple share a son, William “Billy” Tallis, who was born in 2019.
