NRL great Braith Anasta has turned down a chance to appear as the “bachelor” in the new season of the hit reality TV show.

The 41-year-old has told News Corp he declined an invitation from the Network 10 program which is looking for its next front man.

Anasta, who has worked hard to be just as successful off the field as he was during his playing career, says he was too busy with his bulging work load to consider taking up the option to be the star on the new series of the love-finding show.

The Sunday Telegraph reports, the offer was worth around $500,000 for one season.

“I’m busy enough already,” he said.

“I love my role at Fox Sports and looking after my beautiful kids. It’s pretty hectic thrown in with managing footy players and golfers.

“StrongDAD is also something I’m really passionate about to focus on men’s mental health.”

Anasta has become one of the most high profile figures in the NRL media as host of Fox League’s NRL 360.

He has also emerged as a serious player in the NRL player-management game, juggling several star clients, including Melbourne’s Cameron Munster, in his position as an accredited agent.

The former NSW and Australian representative star is also the proud father of two girls — nine-year-old daughter Aleeia with ex-wife Jodi Gordon, with whom he broke up in 2015, and five-year-old daughter Gigi with ex-fiancee Rachael Lee.

Lee also has Addison, 12, also from a previous relationship.

Anasta and Lee separated last year after six years together.

The popular couple started dating in 2016 and had daughter, Gigi, in 2018.

The couple were engaged in 2019 in a glamorous moment in front of their children that left Lee in tears after the proposal came from out of the blue.

Anasta had previously given marriage a shot with former Home And Away star Jodi Gordon. The A-List couple were married at a romantic 2012 ceremony in Bali.

Anasta has previously shared headline-making romances with other celebrity partners, including a period dating former Ironwoman athlete Candice Warner.
