NEWCASTLE has been boosted on the eve of tomorrow’s blockbuster game against the Bulldogs with flying winger Kevin Naiqama re-signing with the club.

NEWCASTLE has been boosted on the eve of tomorrow’s blockbuster game against the Bulldogs with flying winger Kevin Naiqama re-signing with the club.

Naiqama, who has been a revelation in the top grade in recent weeks since coming into the side for the injured James McManus agreed to terms this afternoon on a new one year deal.

“He’s worked really hard this season and it has been fantastic the way he has grabbed his chance in the top grade over the past two or three weeks,’’Knights CEO Matt Gidley said.

"He’s keen to back himself which is why he has only commited himself for one season and we are happy to accommodate him there.

"It means we’ll have our top three wingers – Akuila Uate, Jimmy McManus and Kevvy – coming off contract at the same time.’’

Meanwhile, Knights officials are tipping a crowd of well in excess of 25,000 for the clash with the Bulldogs tomorrow at Hunter Stadium.
