KANGAROOS discard Josh Papalii will play for Samoa in the Rugby League World Cup joining a host of former Australian players turning out for other nations.

He will partner Raiders teammate Junior Paulo and big Frank Pritchard in arguably the biggest pack in the tournament.

The Maroons State of Origin forward was dumped from the Kangaroos side after the mid-season Test against the Kiwi in Canberra for disciplinary reason and was replaced by Andrew Fifita.
