ANDREW Fifita’s rampaging performance against the Sea Eagles not only earned him an Origin call-up but has also delivered him the top spot on the Dally M leaderboard.

Fifita chewed up 183 metres, made four tackle busts and four offloads to help inspire the Sharks to a 20-12 victory against Manly and earn himself three Dally M points in the process.

The Blues forward now jointly holds the lead with Canberra hooker Josh Hodgson, who hasn’t scored a single point since round 8.

Four-time winner and Cowboys superstar Johnathan Thurston continues to gradually make ground on the leaders and polled three points for his game-winning display against the Broncos.

Despite taking a heavy hit to his hip in the prior play, Thurston still managed to slot a field goal in the 75th minute, which proved to be the difference, to seal a 19-18 comeback victory.

Teammate Jason Taumalolo shares second place with Anthony Milford after he registered two points.

Fellow halfback and Maroons compatriot Cooper Cronk has leapfrogged Thurston after he was awarded three points for guiding the Storm to an 18-6 win over the Eels on Monday night.
