CANBERRA remain hopeful that halfback Sam Williams and fullback Josh Dugan will be fit to start against the Warriors in Auckland today as they aim to seal an NRL finals berth.
Williams picked up a shoulder injury in the Raiders' 34-6 humbling of competition leaders Canterbury last Friday night, while Dugan rolled an ankle in training.
Canberra coach David Furner says a call on the key duo's availability will be made on match day.
"We'll just see how they pull up," he said after the captain's run in Auckland yesterday. "It's still a very late decision."
As for where they might finish (in terms of the eight) Furner said the Raiders' sole goal was to beat the Warriors.
"I don't want the players thinking about if this happened or if that happened," he said. "We're not in control of that. We just have to focus on our preparation for tomorrow."
The Warriors don't have the luxury of worrying about their own play-off ambitions.

The lock will be playing his 226th NRL match, and his 150th for the Warriors, before hanging up his boots and returning to former club North Queensland in an off-field role.Luck is upbeat about the Warriors' own preparation this week, but doesn't underestimate the challenge against opponents in "red-hot form".
He cited the threats of the back three of Dugan, if fit, and wingers Sandor Earl and Reece Robinson, and added the Raiders "have threats across the field".
