Bronco Andrew McCullough scores well in Fans Favourite ratings

FOOTBALLERS of all codes handle pressure in different ways. Some succumb and others, such as Bronco Andrew McCullough, grab it and run with it.
Only a month ago, McCullough was the NRL player with the most to lose from the decision Test skipper Cameron Smith was about to make.
Instead of letting that get to him, the Dalby Devils product leapt straight into the new season with outstanding performances in the opening two wins over the Bulldogs and Cowboys.
Broncos fans overwhelmingly voted for McCullough as man of the match against the Cowboys last Friday.

McCullough made 56 tackles and scored the match-sealing try and was the only player to get a nine-out-of-10 from fans in The Courier-Mail’s Fan Favourite survey in which we invite you to rank Broncos, Cowpoys and Titans players each week.
Firstly this week, we should apologise. There were some annoying technical issues with the surveys and a lot of Titans and Cowboys fans didn’t get a chance to rate their players.
To be fair to the players and the fans, I’ve decided not to include round 2 scores for those two teams in the overall results and I’m sure the Titans will be delighted to hear that after their awful performance against the Wests Tigers.
Back at the Broncvos, a solid 42 per cent of respondents gave McCullough a 9, another 27 per cent rated him an 8 and 25 per cent gave him a perfect 10.
Not far behind was the ever-popular Corey Parker who got an eight rating from 48 per cent of respondents and a nine from another 22 per cent.
Former captain Sam Thaiday scored an eight from 28 per cent and a nine from 28 per cent.
