Brisbane Broncos to contest high tackle charge against Ben Te'o at NRL judiciary

BRISBANE will contest the grading of the Ben Te’o high tackle charge at the NRL judiciary.

BRISBANE will contest the grading of the Ben Te'o high tackle charge at the NRL judiciary tomorrow night in an effort to have the forward cleared for the Monday night clash with Parramatta at Suncorp Stadium.

The Broncos have entered an early guilty plea for fullback Josh Hoffman’s dangerous contact charge, therefore accepting a one-game ban, but the club will fly to Sydney tomorrow night in a bid to have the Queensland Origin forward’s charge downgraded.

Te’o has plead “guilty-disputing grading” to the high tackle on Gold Coast’s Luke Bailey last Friday, hopeful he will be available to play this week as the club battles an injury crisis with Justin Hodges (ankle, hamstring), Jack Reed (leg) and Jharal Yow Yeh (leg) among the star outside backs currently unavailable due to injury.
