BRISBANE Broncos veteran Corey Parker has reaffirmed his desire to be a one-club man, denying speculation from Sydney media that he is negotiating for an early release to join the Canterbury Bulldogs.

Sydney radio station 2GB stated on Tuesday that a "big-name Broncos player was set to join coach Des Hasler at the Bulldogs".

It later emerged the big name was 30-year-old Parker, despite the fact the Australian Test player is signed until the end of 2014.

Twitter and Bulldogs internet fan forums were rife with supposed inside information that Parker was disgruntled at the Broncos.

However Parker, who debuted for the Broncos aged only 18, said the talk was laughable.

"I'm a one-club man and I really want to stay that way. This is all news to me," he said.

"I have been contracted here for 12 years and have two more to go on my current contract.

"It is laughable. I was really surprised when I was going through my Twitter and saw all these messages asking me if I was going to the Dogs.

"That's the thing with Twitter and social media. Someone starts a rumour and it just explodes from there.

"I could start a rumour tomorrow about whoever and it will grow and grow through social media."

Parker is fiercely loyal and yesterday was rewarded with a $106,000 vehicle from Audi, one of the Broncos sponsors.

Desperate to break a three-loss streak, the Broncos play Wayne Bennett's Newcastle Knights at Suncorp Stadium tomorrow afternoon.

Parker said this week's intense training was the wake-up call the team needed after being outclassed against the Melbourne Storm last round.
