FORMER Bulldogs sharpshooter Daryl Halligan was secretly parachuted into the Blues camp on Friday to give Todd Carney some goal-kicking lessons.
Leaving no stone unturned before Origin Two, Ricky Stuart sent the Blues No. 6 to ANZ Stadium to hone his radar with the record-breaking former Kiwi goalkicker.
Stuart also added Tigers prop Aaron Woods, Manly utility Jamie Buhrer and Dragons winger Brett Morris to his squad as emergency replacements. Carney only managed to bag one goal from three attempts in Origin I with a crucial penalty kick going well wide of the posts.
With the Origin II predicted to be another close affair, the Blues sent Carney out with Halligan before breaking from camp for a goal-kicking masterclass. The star playmaker spent over an hour at ANZ Stadium practising his kicking and is confident of having a better night with the boot against the Maroons.

Stuart will again give the Cronulla ace the kicking duties, claiming first-game nerves got the better of him in his debut Origin match.
"He was really nervous, Toddy," Stuart said. "He will be a lot better for the run, so to speak. All players get nervous before an Origin game.
"He got a shot at goal early in the piece ... he will kick them any day of the week. But I think nerves got to him."
Showing he is well and truly in NSW's future plans, Woods' disappointment at being overlooked was slightly offset when he joined Buhrer and Dragons winger Morris in an extended Blues squad.
