Ben Hellwell copped the surprise of a lifetime on this Tinder date
BEN Hellewell had planned a nice night out on the town but as he rocked up to his Tinder date, he received the shock of his life.
A RUGBY star was left cringing after his Tinder hook-up turned out to be his 14-stone teammate in drag.
Scotland’s Ben Hellewell, 25, sent a string of X-rated texts to the ‘girl’ he set up for a bar date.
But when he turned up to the boozer in Cairns, Australia, he was met by pal Matt Russell, 24, in a black wig and pink dress.
The hilarious prank was filmed by other World Cup squad members as Ben walked over and grabbed Matt’s shoulders.
Realising he has been duped, fooled Ben says: “I don’t believe you b******s.”
Matt had set up the fake profile while the rugby league team relaxed between tournament games Down Under.
One fan said: “The ultimate prank. Ben thought he was getting lucky but met with a hairy-chested geezer in drag.”
It came after captain Danny Brough, Sam Brooks and Johnny Walker were sent home last week for being too drunk to board a flight.
