THE Brisbane Broncos will be without impact back-rower Ben Te'o as they attempt to halt their three-match losing streak against the Newcastle Knights this Sunday at Suncorp Stadium.

Te'o suffered an ankle injury during the team’s loss to the Melbourne Storm last Friday night but is expected to only miss one to two weeks.

Dunamis Lui maintains his place in the team because of Te'o’s injury while the Broncos' three rested Origin players Petereo Civoniceva, Sam Thaiday and Justin Hodges all return.

While the Broncos have been dealt an injury blow, the Knights were relieved with news star five-eighth Jarrod Mullen is cleared of a fractured eye socket and given the green light to play.
