Collingwood netball star’s freak training act has to be seen to be believed
A netball player’s incredible feat at training sent her teammates and social media wild, and it has to be seen to be believed.
Molly Jovic might have chosen the wrong sport. There were incredible scenes at a Collingwood Magpies netball training session this week when Jovic pulled off an incredible feat.
The Magpies players were doing a training drill involving kicking a footy to teammates down the other end of the court when Jovic launched a long bomb.

Her kick sailed over her teammates’ heads as they watched the Sherrin miraculously drop right in the hoop with a perfect swish.
It was pandemonium as Jovic immediately slumped to the floor in celebration like a tennis player who had just won a grand slam.
There were screams of jubilation as she was mobbed by one teammate, while the others could only look on in disbelief.

Aerial cameras captured the length-of-the-court kick and it’s fair to say the Australian netball community lost their collective minds at Jovic’s incredible feat on social media.
NSW Swifts co-captain Maddy Proud reshared the video, tweeting: “This is iconic.”
On Instagram, former Vixens player Bianca Chatfield commented on Collingwood’s video of the kick: “Wow” with three fire emojis. Ex-Australian Diamond Natalie Medhurst said: “@mollyjovic Never been prouder.”
Former Winter Olympics gold medallist and Collingwood fan Alisa Camplin: “Epic!”
And Collingwood AFLW star Steph Chiocci clearly thought Jovic had a future with the Magpies’ sister Aussie rules team, commenting: “@collingwoodaflw” with an eye emoji.
In the Super Netball, Collingwood is seventh on the ladder and it yet to record a victory after the first two rounds of the season.
The Magpies were boosted significantly by the return of star midcourter Ash Brazill last week, who added some much needed spark.
Collingwood take on the Sunshine Coast Lightning on Sunday afternoon in what is a crucial game for both sides who are desperate for a win.
