The Bathurst 1000 takes place this weekend and it will be the season finale for the 2021 V8 Supercars campaign.

Usually held in October, the Bathurst 1000 has been pushed back a couple of months due to the effect Covid has had on the Supercars schedule.
Kiwi Shane van Gisbergen has already secured his second Supercars championship, but he’ll be looking to end the year on a high, while his Red Bull teammate Jamie Whincup is desperate for one last triumph at the iconic Mount Panorama circuit before he retires.
How to watch the Bathurst 1000
Fox Sports channel 503 and Kayo has every angle covered with a dedicated one-stop shop for all things Bathurst 1000, including documentaries and specials every night this week, as well as comprehensive coverage of the qualifying and the race itself.
To get you in the mood for the race, Fox Sports have released a special preview video featuring some of the highlights of the race from decades gone by, with the AC/DC classic hit Highway to Hell providing an apt soundtrack to the clip.

When is the Bathurst 1000?
Before the race itself, qualifying takes place on Friday at 4.35pm (AEDT).
The popular Top 10 shootout, which determines the starting grid for the contenders, will be held at 5.05pm (AEDT) on Saturday.
The Bathurst 1000 race will get underway at 12.15pm on Sunday.
