Bathurst 1000 2024 live updates from Mt Panorama: Blunder shock legend

The Bathurst 1000 is underway and we’ve had our first couple of mistakes, with a crucial blunder leaving a Supercars legend stunned.

Reigning Supercars champion Brodie Kostecki will start from pole position after blitzing Saturday’s top 10 shootout.

All eyes will be on Supercars championship leader Will Brown, who has a 198-point lead in the standings over Chaz Mostert.

Brown starts fifth, while Mostert will start ninth and have his work cut out for him as he looks to win Bathurst for a third time.
