One of the biggest pop stars in the world has sent tongues wagging with her latest sighting adding to rumours of her new flame.

The relationship rumours between Lewis Hamilton and Shakira have reached new heights following the Spanish Grand Prix.

As Hamilton delivered his best drive of the season, the Hips Don’t Lie singer was spotted watching on from the garage.

Fans watching on were quick to point out that Hamilton drove like the seven-time champion of old as he crossed the line second behind Max Verstappen.

Mercedes have been slowly building into the season but showed they’re back in the fight at the Circuit de Catalunya.

It’s the second time this season Hamilton has finished second behind Verstappen after a solid display during the Australian Grand Prix.

The latest result sees him close the gap to Fernando Alonso for third place on the drivers championship standings to 12 points.

It came as no shock to Formula 1 fans that his performance in Barcelona came while his new reported flame was watching on.

The latest sighting comes weeks after the pair sent social media into a tailspin after they were seen enjoying a sunny boat ride together, days after being seen out for dinner.

Shakira was picked up from the back of her $A30 million Miami Beach mansion before cruising around Biscayne Bay.

The 46-year-old sported a fringed lilac bikini top and matching shorts, wearing her famous long wavy hair loose over her shoulders.

She was all smiles as she boarded the vessel which had an inflatable crocodile strapped to the top – and appeared to be greeted by Lewis.

The Mercedes driver, 38, was wearing a white cap, sunglasses, a black sleeveless top and checkerboard shorts – showing off his distinctive tattoos.

Verstappen dominated the day as he cruised around the track, leading from start to finish to cross the line more than 20 seconds ahead of Hamilton.

It was his third consecutive race win and his fifth so far on the season.

His Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez finished fourth, allowing his stranglehold on the championship race to grows.

Naomi Schiff said on Sky Sports: “It’s frightening to see just how far ahead he is with his Red Bull.”

The Athletic’s Luke Smith wrote: “It’s victory for Max Verstappen in Spain! 5th win of the year and the fastest lap puts him 53 points clear of Perez at the top of the championship. Theoretically, Perez could win the next seven races and still not regain the points lead.”

The display left many questioning if the 2023 Formula 1 title race was already over as the dominant Dutchman chases his third straight world championship crown.
