Red Bull superstar Max Verstappen has etched his name into the Formula 1 record books with a feat rarely seen in the sport.
George Russell has won the Las Vegas Grand Prix, but it’s Red Bull’s Max Verstappen who has stolen the show after wrapping up the 2024 Formula drivers title.
Verstappen needed to finish ahead of rival Lando Norris and the star driver had no issues as he crossed the line in fifth ahead of the McLaren star.

Norris needed to finish ahead of Verstappen to keep the championship fight alive with two races remaining but it wasn’t to be.
Verstappen didn’t push too hard in the closing stages of the race, knowing all he needed to do was hold out his rival as the Ferrari duo of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc overtook him in the final laps.
Russell held off teammate Lewis Hamilton who delivered a stunning drive to finish second after starting from 10th on the grid.
