A woman learnt a valuable lesson the hard way this weekend: don’t run on ice wearing heels.

As the Los Angeles Kings wrapped up ice hockey’s Stanley Cup finals, Hannah Hunsinger ran onto the ice – and ate it.

The embarrassing moment was captured on live TV as it happened in the background of NBC LA’s live broadcast.

The good news is Hannah is alright.

“Yes, I am OK. And you would think that after skating on the ice that I would be OK with walking on it, but that wasn’t the case,” Hunsinger told NBC LA.

It turns out Hunsinger is a Kings Ice Girl who has posed in the team’s calendar, so the viral video will no doubt help her modelling career as well.
