‘People think it’s a joke’: WWE twins’ big news

Eighteen months after leaving WWE star John Cena because she wanted to have kids, Nikki Bella is pregnant. But that’s only half of it.

WWE twins Nikki and Brie Bella will soon wrestle with parenthood after breaking the news that both are pregnant at the same time.

The pair, 36, can barely be kept apart at the best of times and now they’ll be sharing another intimate journey together after confirming the remarkable news.

What’s more, their due dates are just two weeks apart but they insist it remains just a coincidence.

Speaking to People, Brie said: “Wait, twins being pregnant at the same time?

“People are going to think that’s a joke. We both are shocked. People are going to think we planned it, but you can’t really plan pregnancy!”

Brie is married to fellow WWE superstar Daniel Bryan while Nikki is engaged to professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev.

Nikki was just weeks away from walking down the aisle with John Cena in 2018 but ended up calling the wedding off.

Since announcing their retirements in March last year, the pair star in reality TV show Total Bellas and have also launched a wine label.

Brie already has a two-year-old child and added of the news: “My husband and I were trying for seven or eight months, but then I felt in my heart it was a sign from God, like, ‘You guys are good with one,’ so we stopped trying.

“When we were in France meeting Artem’s family, I felt a little off. I was irritated and uncomfortable in my body. When we got home, I took a test two days before Thanksgiving, and when I saw the positive sign, I was like, ‘Oh, s***.”

Nikki claimed a nagging feeling encouraged her to take a pregnancy test.

She said: “I was in yoga, and I kept getting this feeling that you need to take a pregnancy test, but I wasn’t even late yet.

“And so I’m like, ‘Why do I keep having this feeling? Am I getting twin vibes from her? Because she just told me she’s pregnant?’”
