Partner’s heartbreaking words after death of motocross cult hero

The partner of Aussie motocross cult hero Jayden Archer has shared devastating details after he died while performing a stunt.

The fiancee of motocross cult hero Jayden Archer has penned a heartbreaking tribute to the Aussie daredevil.

The popular freestyle motocross star and X Games medallist died while practising a trick he made famous after becoming the first person to ever land it successfully in competition.

Archer, 27, died after the motorbike incident in Melbourne on last week.

His partner Beth King has now commented publicly for the first time, revealing heartbreaking details about the future the couple had planned together.

Among several heartbreaking revelations, King said the couple had spoken about having twins together.

“My beautiful beautiful boy, I have too much to say but yet I still don’t know how to even begin,” King posted on Instagram with a video montage of their special moments together.

“I could write a book about you but I freeze thinking this is even real and I have to write this.

“The tributes to you have been amazing, everyone knew your talent, and this sport was you’re identity but I want to show people who I knew, who our families knew.

“To the world you were tough and strong and hard as nails, but with me and family you were soft, gentle, loving, kind, beautiful.

“You were invincible, get knocked down get back up twice as strong - (physically and mentally). If only everyone knew the s*** you went through to reach the goals you did. I promise to tell your story properly one day, so everyone understands how much of a super human you were. You were just built different.

“You would never let anything happen to me, you loved your family more than anything, your morals were incredible. You wanted to have a family, we were supposed to have those twins, we were supposed to get married, I’m so sorry we didn’t reach those things you would have been the most incredible dad.

“God I am so lucky, to have experienced the love we had “when you know, you know”. There will forever be a giant jayo sized hole in my heart, I don’t know how life can just keep going on with out you here.

“I love you forever jayden archer.”

Among the images shared in the video was the photo that captured the moment Archer proposed to King after the Nitro World Games at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium in 2022.

Nitro Circus earlier confirmed the motocross star’s death in a statement on Instagram.

“The Nitro Circus family is mourning the loss of Jayo Archer,” the statement read.

“Jayo was the epitome of passion, hard work and determination.

“He pushed what was possible on a dirt bike to heights never seen before.

“A positive influence to those around him. And above all else, a great human being and friend to us all.”

Archer was the first freestyle motocross rider to land a triple backflip in competition when he successfully landed the trick at Nitro World Games in Brisbane in November 2022.

After an interview out in the middle of the stadium, Archer proposed to King in front of a cheering crowd.

The couple were set to be married this year.

The other love in his life was motocross and it was easy to see in the way he spoke about his craft.

“I cannot describe this feeling,” Archer said after landing the trick.

“This is so much more than a trick to me. I’ve dedicated my entire life the last three years to this moment.

“There were a lot of obstacles and broken bones and knockouts, and I would do it 100 times over to relive that moment again.”

Only two other motorbike riders have ever landed a triple backflip in official records but none were performed during a competition.

Archer had worked for Nitro Circus before performing in his first show in 2012.

He’d won two X Games medals, including his most recent bronze medal at X Games California last year.

Nitro Circus founder Travis Pastrana shared the news on Instagram with his followers after news broke of his friend’s death.

“Thank you for the memories friend. Thank you for being such a great human and positive role model for all of us,” he said.
