DARIUS Boyd has nothing on this guy. Seattle Seahawks NFL star Marshawn Lynch has given the mother of all passive-aggressive, one-word answer interviews.
Actually, to be fair - he at one point got to three words, when he replied in the ultimate monotone: “I don’t know.”
Lynch donned ultimate passive-aggressive mode for the interview, staring down reporters and leaning into their microphones to deliver his string of non-answers.
The man famous for “Beast Mode” has an infamous dislike of the media, yet he did his duty in dubious fashion after yesterday’s 1903 win over the Arizona Cardinals in a token effort to avoid another fine after being slugged a nasty total of $100,000 for blanking reporters after a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Lynch has form in this area, having been fined $20,000 two years ago for refusing to speak to the media during NFL-mandated sessions. He also threatened to boycott media day before last year's Super Bowl, but eventually turned up to deliver the bare minimum.
The running back is having another strong season, ranking fourth in the league for rushing yards with 813.
