FIRST, the Colombian women’s cycling team uniform had us doing a double take with its revealing design.

The men’s leaves nothing to the imagination, either.

Social media went off yesterday with images of the gobsmacking Colombian women’s uniform at a race in Italy.

It was one of the biggest design fails we’ve seen, with the flesh-coloured section across the lower torso and upper legs leaving the women to appear naked.

Now the men’s kit is doing the rounds, featuring a rather prominent circle that draws the eye to just below the waistline.

Not a good look.

In the meantime, the president of the International Cycling Union (UCI) said the uniforms worn by the Colombian women were “unacceptable”.

“To the many who have raised the issue of a certain women’s team kit, we are on the case,” Brian Cookson wrote on his Twitter account.

The one positive out of all of this is the designer of Australia’s uniforms for this year’s Commonwealth Games is off the hook.

The Speedo-produced swim suit for the Aussie men at this year’s Glasgow Commonwealth Games also drew attention to the wrong area.

The geniuses behind these uniforms are also sending their thanks.
