Bam Margera concerning Jackass co-stars with bizarre behaviour
A series of bizarre Instagram posts by one of the stars of the Jackass films has his co-stars fearing the worst and Dr Phil involved.

Former stunt performer and professional skateboarder Bam Margera has prompted fears for his life after concerning behaviour in public and on social media.
The 39-year-old father-of-one was filmed being kicked off a Southwest flight in Atlanta last weekend after saying he had taken 50 shots of tequila and then calling airline employees “idiots” for believing him.
He followed that by posting dozens of videos to his Instagram account where he hit out at his mother, April, wife, Nicole, and childhood friend Brandon Novak, before pleading for help from Dr Phil. He also posted photos of bizarre notes.
Margera has battled alcoholism and been to rehab at least four times.
Jackass co-star Stephen “Steve-O” Glover, who has also been to rehab, encouraged Margera to get help. “I’m sorry if it’s frustrating for you that we care enough to keep trying to get through to you, Bam,” he wrote on Instagram.
“It couldn’t be more clear that all of this isn’t OK, and I hope you’ll join me and Novak in recovery before your son loses his dad. And by the way, none of this looks cool (which is a good thing, because it’s humiliating myself that motivated me to commit myself to a program of recovery). It’s time to give up the fight and join the winning team. I love you, brother.”
Chris Pontius, who also starred in the daredevil films, also revealed attempts to reach Margera had been unsuccessful.
“To everybody asking the Jackass guys to help Bam, we are trying and have been, but no matter how loudly help screams his name it’s up him to want to be better and not somebody who publicly degrades their wife and mother and takes accountability for it,” he wrote.
It appears those pleas have been heard. TMZ reports Margera will return to rehab after Dr Phil convinced him of his need for professional help during a three-hour session.
“Bam’s now on his way to begin what we’re told will be a 60-90 day stay in treatment,” TMZ reported.
Margera posted this on Tuesday: “Off to Dallas to get my brain evaluated! Thanks Dr Phil … my phone will be off for a while.”
