Tiger Woods and ex-wife seen riding together in candid moment
Tiger Woods and ex-wife Elin Nordegren have been seen riding together with their complicated relationship in the spot light again.
Tiger Woods and ex-wife Elin Nordegren supported son Charlie together on Monday in South Florida, where the 15-year-old competed in a high school golf tournament.
Charlie, a sophomore (Grade 10) at The Benjamin School, took part in the Class 1A Region 4 event at Miami Shores Country Club, with the Buccaneers placing second ahead of next week’s state championships, The New York Post reports.
Nordegren, 44, who was married to Woods, 48, from 2004-10, “rode with Tiger in the golf cart part of the way” during the event, according to The Palm Beach Post.
The sighting comes months after the former couple — also parents to 17-year-old daughter Sam — reunited to celebrate Charlie receiving a state championship golf ring after The Benjamin School captured the Class 1A title last November.
Woods and Nordegren’s relationship has strengthened over the years after a cheating scandal infamously derailed their marriage in 2009.
The legendary golfer even called Nordegren “one of my best friends” in a 2015 interview with TIME Magazine.
“Having the relationship that I have now with her is fantastic. She’s one of my best friends,” Woods said.
“We’re able to pick up the phone, and we talk to each other all the time. We both know that the most important things in our lives are our kids. I wish I would have known that back then.”
Nordegren moved on romantically with former NFL player Jordan Cameron, with whom she shares three children.
Woods previously dated Erica Herman from 2017-22. She originally sued the 15-time major champion in March 2023, requesting to be removed from a non-disclosure agreement over a sexual assault and harassment clause.
Herman dropped the lawsuit last November.
Woods is currently on the mend after undergoing back surgery in September, his sixth procedure on his lower back in the past 10 years.
“The surgery went smoothly, and I’m hopeful this will help alleviate the back spasms and pain I was experiencing throughout most of the 2024 season,” Woods said in a statement.
He last competed at The Open over the summer.
