Paige Spiranac is pleased to see that golf hulk Bryson DeChambeau is human after all.
Taking to Twitter, Spiranac weighed in on DeChambeau’s brutal drive at the Players Championship over the weekend, in which the 27-year-old topped a tee shot into the water and then launched an iron far right of the green.

“I get so much joy from watching the best in the world hit hacker shots just like us,” Spiranac tweeted on Sunday afternoon.
DeChambeau — who won the previous week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational — double-bogeyed the fourth hole and finished third in the Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass, with Justin Thomas taking home the top honours.
This isn’t the first time Spiranac has trolled DeChambeau’s game. In November, the Playing A Round podcast host shaded the golf sensation over his disappointing performance at the 2020 Masters.
“Lesson learned from Bryson this week guys. It’s not how long your shaft is but how you use it,” Spiranac jabbed over DeChambeau’s driver preference.
Recently, Spiranac critiqued DeChambeau for name-dropping Tiger Woods during his post-victory speech from the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Woods is currently recovering after being involved in a serious car wreck in late February.
“I can respect Bryson and still find him annoying,” Spiranac tweeted last Sunday, noting DeChambeau can come off “disingenuous at times.”

DeChambeau’s bulked-up transformation caused a stir last summer, as did his debate with a PGA official during the Memorial Tournament in Ohio, where he asked for a second opinion on a ruling.
