Scott trailed joint leaders Rory McIroy and Vijay Singh when a storm stopped play midway through the third round yesterday.

When play resumed today, McIlroy stretched his lead and sits alone atop the leaderboard on 7under.

The Australian dropped a shot to be 3 under at the end of his third round, with Sweden's Carl Pettersson (-4) moving to outright second.

Trevor Immelman of South Africa and America's Bo van Pelt hold a share of third with Scott.

Singh and Tiger Woods are among another group one shot further back.
