When and where will the Matildas quarterfinal match be?

The Aussies will have four full days of recovery before they return to the pitch on Saturday, August 12.

After winning through in front of a raucous Sydney crowd, the contest will head north and take place at Brisbane Stadium.

Who will the Matildas play next?

Australia’s next opponent was determined on Tuesday night when France proved far too good for Morocco in a 4-0 thrashing.

France finished on top of Group F with two wins and a draw, scoring eight goals in their group games while conceding four.

Morocco finished runners up in Group H winning two and losing one. Amazingly they did it while scoring only two goals and conceding six. But they were ultimately no match for the French.
